Graphic Design

Graphic design is a process of visual communication and problem-solving through various elements of art and design. It is an important tool that enhances how you communicate with other people. As the graphic design industry contributes as a key visual communicator and marketing tool for different industries inside and outside the creative sector, its role to achieve sustainability becomes even more important.

Sustainable design is the philosophy of designing physical objects, the built environment, and services to comply with the principles of ecological sustainability. Ethical and sustainable thinking is a matter of the attitudes, behaviours, values and mindset that an individual should have to take ethical decisions and act sustainably. This course explores the basics
of
sustainable graphic design and thinking.

The course introduces the kids to the basics of graphic design - it’s meaning and it’s impact. It further involves introduction to the meaning of ‘sustainability’ and ‘sustainable thinking’ and how the 2 fields form an interdependence for a more wider impact to the society and environment at large.

This club enables the kids of age 7 to 17 to make their own story boards and concepts. They learn how to be more mindful of their surroundings and resources through the design process and logical thinking
